Review: Poi Wear Hi-Chair Bib

The Husband has a lovely (and very lucky) Aunt that lives in Hawaii. She sends our children beautiful gifts and cards that make me wonder why we don't live in Hawaii too. The latest gift was a couple of these incredible bibs. I believe they were supposed to be a part of their Christmas presents but I couldn't wait to open them. The Poi Wear Hi-Chair Bib is just what I have been looking for.

Designed to fit over the full front of a child as well as the legs, the bib has a cut out in the middle that allows for it to lay flat against the child and fully cover the legs as well. I also like it because it is absorbent. While bibs made of slick plastic might be good for older children, little ones like Mr. Man eat a lot of soft , wet food and also drool quite a bit. All that wetness either pools on/in plastic bibs or just rolls right off on to clothes.

The Hi-Chair Bib is fully washable and super lightweight. They also come in beautiful prints, many of which have beautiful (not hokey like a bad Hawaiian shirt)Hawaiian themes to them. The price is a little steep at $20 but they make a great gift. I, myself, am glad I have two of them because they are very well made and useful!

Ratings out of **** :

Function ***: Catches food well, comes clean easily. My only complaint is that it seems to fold in at the sides and it doesn't cover the arms.

Cost **: Steep at $20 but would make a great gift.

Overall: *** Great bib, great design, lightweight AND absorbent.
