We invited one of our readers, Ame to provide a review on this DVD that she had brought to our attention in one of her comments. Read on to see what she thought of the Pocket Snails Potty Adventure. Thanks very much Ame!
Ok, you may laugh when you hear the name or at the thought of snails wandering around the bathroom. But wait! Do not count these adorable, I believe British, snails out just yet. Because judging by T, my little man's opinion, they are way awesome.
T: "Potty Snails, Potty Snails"
Mommy: "Do you want to watch Pocket Snails?"
T: "YEH, Potty Snails"
And so begins the introduction of the animated snails teaching your developing toddler all the steps to the potty and what to do afterwards. Gordon, Dale, and Buttons are three of the cutest animated snails we have met, (granted they are also the first animated snails we have met). They have proven quite captivating for our little two year old. They definitely inspired T to ask about the potty.

He was not at all interested in toilet paper before the Potty Snails, but now whether he has "poo-pooed" or not he insists on wiping. In addition, T is much more interested in reading his books about learning how to potty, which I think comes from his interest in the Pocket Snails.
The DVD also includes a "potty map", which they refer to quite often throughout the video. I thought T would love this, (you know having the same thing as the snails on the TV screen), but he has little interest in it. However, I can see how this might help some toddlers make the transition to using the potty a bit easier.
The video also includes a "Hello Potty" and "Goodbye Diapers" song. Both are encouraging songs and let them know that it is okay when accidents happen. However, our 13 year old babysitter thinks they are hilarious and apparently sings the "Potty Song" at home even though this video is obviously geared for the 2 to 5 crowd. I must say that "Goodbye Diapers" is not T's favorite song, he says "No" when it comes on, but I think that is because he is not ready to say goodbye to his diapers yet. This is definitely a process that comes in spurts for our toddler and "Pocket Snails Potty Adventure" has helped this process along.

I like the Potty Adventure and the Aquaphonic Adventure
aquaphonic adventure- because we're working on letters and an underwater format might be just the thing to help him remember his letters!
I love the letter adventure! Such a great idea!
The Potty Adventure sounds the best to me right now. I'm working on potty training my 20 month old daughter and any help I can get would be great! I like the idea of the Aquaphonic Adventure too.

I have to say the Potty Adventure is the most original! Then if our family bonded to the snails (hee hee) we could move on to the Letter Adventure and Aquaphonic Adventure... but for now I have the Leap Frog videos for learning letters. Thanks for the contest!
I like both the Potty Adventure {as I am now attempting to potty train a two year old} and the Letter Adventure because my daughter is extremely interested in her ABC's and I want to jump on the enthusiasim while it lasts!
The aquaphonics sounds good right now as my oldest is learning her phonics and trying to read.
I really like the Potty Adventure . This is our first child and we need help. We are now trying very hard to potty train our 2 year old. I think he would really like this and I truly think it would help him to like the potty. What a great Dvd !!! :o)

I like the idea of the Aquaphonic adventure dvd. I am trying to teach my daughter the sounds of the letters...She says a "w" sound for all her "l" sounds. Maybe this would help...

This looks like just what we need at our house with a very headstrong and opinionated toddler!
I think the Potty Adventure would actually be my favorite but Pocket Snails®
Letter Adventure & Other Snaily Songs CD would be a hit with my other kids too! Thanks for hosting this!
Really, the one I need more than anything is the Potty Adventures. My youngest will be 3 in May and still has noooo interest in the potty. Maybe this could kickstart it. I'm getting desperate!
I would like the potty adventure best. My daughter is 23 mos. and is definitely ready for potty training. Thanks for the entry! hellomary018ATyahooDOTcom
I like the Potty Adventure best. We're going to begun potty training my toddler soon and it would be most helpful!
Potty Adventure sounds good to me, too. I can't believe my daughter is getting close to the "potty training age," but she is! Why does it go so fast?
I really like Potty Adventure. I have heard so many good things about this DVD and would love to own it!
As a mother of an almost 3 year old daughter that does not want to potty train, I am most interested in the DVD Pocket Snails® Potty Adventure. I'm sure it would also help with my son who will be born in 10 days!

I think the Aquaphonics would be great! I prefer to teach kids the sounds before the alphabet names.
"That isn't an A its a picture of the sound aaaa or ahhh"
Pocket Snails® Potty Adventure - DVD intrest me the most because my daughter is not interested in using the potty and I would love not changing anymore messy diapers!!

I think the Potty Adventure is best for me. I had the hardest time in the world with my oldest daughter and I am dreading it with the next one.
I think Potty Adventure would be best. I'm already worried about potty training my son and he's only 19 months!
The potty Adventures would be our first choice, it's something we've been thinking about lately. The Letter Adventure looks great, too!
The Potty Adventure, Aquaphonic Adventure and then the Letter Adventure & Other Snaily Songs CD to reinforce the
learning.
I like the Potty Adventure best.
