Born Green Giveaway!

(image from treehugger.com- an awesome website that I hope won't be mad that I used this image...)

Whew! Today was the first day of my new, full time job. I am totally exhausted. Then I came home, got the kids fed, bathed, and ready for bed. Oh yeah, and I still had this blog post that I promised to put up! I am finally ready to get you all registered to win one of THREE prize packages in our Born Green Giveaway!

Here are the rules and the details for each of the prizes:

TO ENTER: You must send an email to contest.babybuyproducts@gmail.com with the following information-

1. What efforts have you and your family made to go green? It could be as simple as recycling, making art out of re-used items, or trying to use less plastic and more glass for food items. What can you share with us about your family's efforts to go green that we can then use to make a "Green Hints" list? Some of the things that we have been doing in our house include tossing our plastic and using glass bowls, changing our plastic water bottles and using aluminum ones, and planting a vegetable garden to teach our kids where food comes from.

2. What products from our Born Green features have you enjoyed the most, and would love to win so that you can try them yourself. (Please list two or three items)

RULES: You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to enter, only one email per family, and you must enter by Midnight March 28th. We will pick a winner for each prize (three winners total) on March 29th and email them. They must email us back within 48 hours so that we can contact our vendors and get the prizes in the mail or we will move on to the next winner. We will also announce our winner on Prizey Winners like we ALWAYS do!

EXTRA CREDIT:
Want some extra entries? For ONE extra entry, Sign up for my RSS feed on my left sidebar and tell me about it in your entry email.
For TWO extra entries, blog about this contest and send me the link back to your blog entry in your email.
As always I will be announcing the winner of the Born Green Giveaway on Prizey Winners! So please check Prizey Winners on March 29th to see who won!

We've been making an effort to "go green" for the last several months. I made my own all-purpose cleaner, and I've been trying to use cloth rather than paper towels to clean. Our biggest change, though, has been to using reusable bags for shopping. I love the bags from Target; I keep one of the small zippered ones in my purse, so I don't have an excuse not to use it!

As for the featured products:
1. I love the idea of gDiapers. We've been trying out some "eco-friendly" disposables, but I haven't tried these yet.
2. The Pearly Grey designs stuff is so cute.
3. Charlie's Soap is on my list of things-to-try.

We recycle a lot of things -- paper, glass, aluminum, etc. We also use canvas bags at the grocery store.

Here are the items I'd love to try:
Baby Bunch- Organic Apricot Bouquet
e-diapers (I've used the cloth diapers, too)
Charlie's Soap- Eco-Friendly Detergentc

I'll send the comments to the gmail address, but I thought it would be useful to write what we're doing to be good to the planet.
- We use gDiapers instead of disposables.
- We make our own cleaners, or buy only ones that are made of natural ingredients.
- We're replacing our bulbs with CFLs. (Hate the mercury though.)
- We take regular bags to the store with us. I even have little canvas produce bags.
