Several brands of recalled cribs due to entrapment, strangulation, suffocation and falls
The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a series of crib recalls in recent years. The number of manufacturers and models is quite surprising given that the risks are similar and still appear even though that had been repeatedly identified in previous recalls.
The following table lists observations taken from CPSC recall notices indicating the types of hazards that were found and the reason for recall. Although not all risks incident or injury, the potential an accident is sufficient to require the manufacturer or provide a repair, replacement or refund. Moreover, not all models of cribs for any manufacturer of a part necessarily in these retreats. If you suspect that the crib is defective, please contact the manufacturer to see if it has been revoked, or if there have been other complaints about the same model.

Mesh sides can expand and create a space between the mattress and mattress mesh if it is compressed into place. If a child slips between the mattress and the mesh is a risk of suffocation. Secondly there is a danger because of the possibility of rail does not garment, posing a fall hazard. There were no reported incidents over a 5 month died from the cradle incident almost identical to another company.
REMEDY:
Return cribs immediately to the store where purchased for a full refund.
