What are some things I can do with my 9 month old to make it more intelligent?
Im totally out of Ideas! Here is our schedule …. – Wake / Bottle time / breakfast – to sleep – Awake / Bottle / TV time) Baby Einstein DVDS Nothing more – Center Activity at the time Walker – Playground time again to take a nap -Bottle/lunch-TV TIME-DVD Baby Einstein-Walker ?????????????? What else?? I need ideas for my daughter to learn …? What to do? Sorry, I'm from the South and around we do not pronounce things correctly … I have yet to ask a question about my knowledge of English, I simply asked a question about what I can do with my daughter to promote his education … Is it really is so difficult? Does it have to be so presumptuous and rude? If you can not answer the question without adding other details that do not belong to the question, please answer I do not.
Really? She is a baby – do not need television at all, and are strongly advised not see anything left of this age. I do not see any point in its schedule where they are playing or interacting with it. Stimulate your senses through touch, sound, and sight is going to stimulate your brain more than the passive activity, as parking it in front of the TV or making her in a playpen. Get on the floor with her. Play with it. Talk to her, and even start reading it. Use a tone of voice normal and talk to it with normal words. She can not understand everything you say, but she is listening. Take a walk, or take her to the park and on the rocking chair for babies. It will be good for both. Point out things you see and tell her what they are, with nouns and adjectives. And if nothing else, do not say things like "smart" front of her. EDIT (To OP): I do not see what it means to be in the South has to do with anything. It's not as if people in the Northeast, Midwest and Western states have cornered the market in good grammar, and to suggest that the contrary is an insult to all Southerners. EDIT (To OP): I tried to respond to your message, asking why people give answers that have nothing to do with your question, but was eliminated. Here was my answer: Well, just relax. I think the reason that people involved in this case you particular was wondering how you can make your child "smarter." Some of the posters collected only in the obvious irony of it. It is as if grammar question was entirely unrelated to the question you asked. Part of being perceived as intelligent and educated is to use proper grammar. And that's obviously what you want for your child, you can set a good example for her to work on its own grammar, so when she learns to speak and write, is to learn correctly. I which is the spirit in which most of these observations were made.
