Breast Pump Accessories
sterilization of baby?

is absorbing new baby bottles, breast pump accessories, and pacifiers in boiling water considering sterilization? What else I can sterilize baby things before giving birth and the use of them?

I've had two babies in the NICU for what I've done a lot of sterillizing, most of the items you buy has the instuctions on the label of what they recommend for sterillization. Some items just wanted in boiling water for 3 minutes, other items that could put in for 5 minutes. Then I had other instructions for the various items that say that hot water and soap. So I think it depends on what your sterillizing. If in doubt, I would put it in boiling water for a couple of minutes, but just keep an eye on it. I also used a breast pump, and I did the boiling water. Were given specific instructions on what items to put in the boiling water, so be sure to find that part out.

Manual Vs. Electronic Breast Pumps?

Which is better? How are they managed? Which is easier to use? Is the chest electronic pump really worth the extra money compared to a manual?

electric ones are best. Manual of lead too long and pumping his hand wound. The wires are more expensive but really worth it. The wires are also easier to use and extract milk better. Good luck

Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump
what bottles work with Ameda purely yours breast pump?

I have a breast pump from my friend and she gave me the bottles for milk collection and I am having a difficult time finding Ameda bottles, do you know any other bottles that work with this pump?

I own and use the extractor Ameda purely yours milk and I have some of the Ameda bottles that come with it but I have some Medela bottles which fit well. I have the first bottles Medela b / c that uses the Medela hand pump. My LO rarely gets a bottle, but does it very well with the Medela bottles and nipples (BPA free, cheap and hassle free gas!) Seems that the types of bottles all have the same kind of plot twist. Only one thing to keep in mind is that if you are not using a bottle of the bottle Ameda more than likely that do not fit in the round booth pump. It's not really a big deal, a minor inconvenience at most. I hope this helps! :)
