Experience with Moby Wrap and Ergo Baby Carrier?
I'm looking at these two for my baby being born in December. I was wondering if anyone had experience with them? I was in a store today and tried both. The Moby Wrap was easy to learn how to wrap and it looks great for newborns. The Ergo Baby Carrier also felt comfortable. I like the idea of "wearing" your baby and the mothers I know say that your baby loves. Does anyone have experience with any and would like to share? My husband does not have trouble using the Moby wrap.
I just asked the same question a week or so ago! I have the Moby and have been used successfully with my daughter for months-3. I walk home with her almost all day and perfect for that rock to sleep with my arms tired. It is ultra comfortable and easy to use, once you get the hang of it, but the only drawback is that it gets very hot after use with the baby in a while because of all the fabric. Also was tedious every time you use it and since there is so much material that is not very convenient to carry around or get out of the house (the fabric is dragged along the ground and get dirty!). Because of these reasons, I just bought the Ergo and arrived today! It's super comfortable but unfortunately I think my baby is too small for him at this time. It is 12 1 / 2 pounds. His legs can not spread around me enough for her to feel comfortable in the Ergo. I know you have a child but it is reducing as $ 25 and not worth it for me and my baby has good head control already.
