sterilization of baby?

is absorbing new baby bottles, breast pump accessories, and pacifiers in boiling water considering sterilization? What else I can sterilize baby things before giving birth and the use of them?

I've had two babies in the NICU for what I've done a lot of sterillizing, most of the items you buy has the instuctions on the label of what they recommend for sterillization. Some items just wanted in boiling water for 3 minutes, other items that could put in for 5 minutes. Then I had other instructions for the various items that say that hot water and soap. So I think it depends on what your sterillizing. If in doubt, I would put it in boiling water for a couple of minutes, but just keep an eye on it. I also used a breast pump, and I did the boiling water. Were given specific instructions on what items to put in the boiling water, so be sure to find that part out.

Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump
what bottles work with Ameda purely yours breast pump?

I have a breast pump from my friend and she gave me the bottles for milk collection and I am having a difficult time finding Ameda bottles, do you know any other bottles that work with this pump?

I own and use the extractor Ameda purely yours milk and I have some of the Ameda bottles that come with it but I have some Medela bottles which fit well. I have the first bottles Medela b / c that uses the Medela hand pump. My LO rarely gets a bottle, but does it very well with the Medela bottles and nipples (BPA free, cheap and hassle free gas!) Seems that the types of bottles all have the same kind of plot twist. Only one thing to keep in mind is that if you are not using a bottle of the bottle Ameda more than likely that do not fit in the round booth pump. It's not really a big deal, a minor inconvenience at most. I hope this helps! :)

Medela Mini Electric Breast Pump

The choice of breastfeeding law

No matter if you have to leave home for work, need to store extra milk for later, or the need to have milk available for someone else who is feeding the baby. Have a good breastfeeding is an essential part of having a child. There are two main types of nursing – manual and battery / electric. single and double models available. If you need to pump frequently, consider an electric model dual. However, if it is not necessary the pump frequency, consider a model smaller and less expensive.

Every mother wants what is best for your baby. Breastfeeding is one of the best ways to give your child the nutrition and antibodies that he or she needs. However, you can get in the way of other duties and work schedules. This means it can be difficult to breastfeed whenever your child needs to eat. A breast pump allows you to offer your baby all the benefits of breastfeeding, but without losing the ability to participate in other activities. It also means you can turn power over dad or another family member from time to time.

There are lots of different models of breast pumps on the market. Different women prefer different styles. The most basic is the single pump on one breast at a time, very similar to the way a baby nurses. career women or those who can not be home all the time often prefer this style because it is small and easy to carry with you. Miniature Pumps are also great for travel. They work just like full-size pump, but you can take almost anywhere. Single and double Models are available in this size, and are practical for almost any woman who can not be home all the time. A double breast pump is a good idea if you have the twins – will have to pump more often than a mother who just have a baby. If you can pump at home and have twins, choose a full size double breast. The extra milk is also useful if you're trying to get others involved in your child's food, too.

Most single, double or mini breast pumps require a power source, either plug or batteries. breast pumps battery powered are best if you need to pump in many different places. That's because you do not have to find a place to connect the pump in. However, these pumps do not provide the same amount of energy as an electric pump. That means it might not be as efficient. If you need to pump often, or are new at this, think about using a plug in the model, which can expel more milk. There are few pumps that let you use the two options – one adapter can be used when there is an outlet available, or you can use batteries when you can not find one.

Many different companies that also produce other products baby make breast pumps, too. Medela is one of the top manufacturers popular, and do some of the strongest available breast pumps. This manufacturer offers single and double pumps, and manufactures bags and accessories, too. You pumps can be found Evenflo, which is known for the bombs to suit the needs of new mothers as well. These companies make breast pumps are high quality practice and affordable for new mothers who want to breastfeed without all the hassle.

You'll have to look at all your options to decide which of the different pumps many works best for you. Some people, such as robust models, offering greater power but need a way to work. Others prefer a pump appropriate battery-powered portable. If you use a double pump, you may be able to reduce the amount of time required, but not everyone likes. Children drink only breast full of milk at a time, making some prefer a single bomb. Experiment and do your research to find the one that will work best for you, and remember to keep a spare on hand in case it breaks or is lost.

Avent Isis Manual Breast Pump
Medela Harmony or Avent Isis manual breast pump?

I'm not sure which one I should buy? O Medela Harmony or Avent Isis .. What is the best among the 2?

I've only used the Avent Isis pump and it seemed very good. It is a recognized brand, soft in the chest, easily separated and clean and easy to find a way to use. I've heard good things about the Medela Avent but I think it was cheaper for me so I went for it and everything went well.

The factors that make your breast pump to disappear

A number of factors that influence how often you need to replace the milk pump. Because a breast pump can be an expensive purchase, control of the pump in time when you will need for the price of the pumps. Here are some ways to say how often you need to replace your breast pump.

Age
Even more breast pump has saved an age limit. If you have not used the pump over three years, then you probably need to replace it. Because most parts of the pumps are plastic, that can not stand the test of time.

Quantity of use
Some women find that using their bombs only once or twice a week or use them only for when your milk is much higher than your baby needs. The pumps used in this way can remain in use for much longer. If the pump a day at work, then the pump can last through one child. Also consider the time they raised her son. Many babies breastfed for only six months more or less milk, while others drink up to two years.

When considering whether or not to get a new pump, think about whether to use the pump with the same frequency as did above. A mother who is at home with your baby will have much less need for a bomb than a mother who needs to pump at work everyday. You may find your circumstances have changed and should consider a pump that will work to improve their current situation.

If partial replacement
The first step when the pump is operating problems is to replace some of the parties. In particular, the suction cup of hand pumps and tube from the pump to the tank often need to be replaced. These pieces can be done quickly. In the case of the pipe, the piece is difficult to clean and needs to be replaced later in the storage. After replacing the parts, you should see a significant difference in the operation of the pump, if not, you may need to get a new one.

Storage Conditions
Breast pumps have moving parts. Even the handpumps have gears and levers. If you store your breast pump in a dry place and protected by wrapping it up, then you may be in good shape. If the breast pump was thrown with other baby items, without much care, then it is likely that you need consider a new purchase.

Bottles and Other Accessories
Some pumps have a built-in basin to catch the milk, while others require the user screw on a bottle of some of them before pumping. In the case of the latter type, make sure you have a sufficient number of bottles or you can buy more. Sometimes a model will not last long, or a newer version comes with different requirements. In these cases, getting a new breast pump may be your only option.

If you find you need to get a new breast pump, do not despair! Just start looking, but remember that you know the basics on this occasion. The process will not have the time to find the right pump for your new baby.

I've been using my pump on a regular basis for about two weeks and think it is losing suction

When you put "regular basis" means exclusively pump or something? Because if so, then probably a manual was not the best choice for you. I sucked and spent money on an electric double. If not … then Quick sound two weeks ago just changed.
