I don’t feel well, but my mom is making me go to a meeting?

Now I am extremely worried because I have flu like symptoms including the embarrassing gas and diarrhea. I’m scared about the swine flu too. My mom thinks I’m faking and i have to go to a meeting tonight for her job cause she can’t hire a baby sitter on short notice. She doesn’t have a thermometer and everytime I feel sick, she uses her hand on my forehead to tell if i have a fever or not. She said I didn’t have a fever and that I have to go. What should I do?! (I SERIOUSLY DON’T CARE IF YOU GUYS TELL ME TO FAKE DO SOMETHING. JUST MAKE IT REALISTIC!)

small child has high fever of 103 * What should I do?

My son is 10 months old and has had a fever all day, jumping from 100-103 *… has been under 102 most of the day, but tonight he woke from his sleep coughed gag'd, and went back to sleep, I looked at the temperature at the front / behind the ear, with an infared thermometer, and it was 102.8. I am new to this so idk if I shuold take him to emergency room or what? he has had a good appetite, and was cute and playful throughout the day, acting as normal, only with fever and a runny nose, yellow, and an occasional cough. I know it's a bit obviously has a cold or something ….. but idk on foot, I've been giving him Tylenol and IBU baby baby all day as directed …… This is common for babies> I do not know, I'm a new dad, and know nothing of these things yet. Also, no rash or anything, and about two weeks he had this thing called rump … cleared quickly.
