Fun activities to do inside / outside with your toddler?
I have a child 23 months old and full of evergy smart as him!. But I feel like I do not challenge him in kind, as if we repeat the same old boring stuff, read books, go out and walk, play in pop-up tent color. That's what we do. I feel bad that I am not creative enough to present themselves in really fun activities. But when try to find at Wal-Mart all seems a bit expensive and definitely dirty activities whose sidewalk chalk (no sidewalks) finger paints ….. thought makes me cringe, clay he loves playing ball but into small pieces and thrown on the floor, go to the park a lot, but even he gets a little tired of it, sometimes we go and I looks like "we're here again," I wonder if part of it is because he doesn't have a friend to do things with. Its always with me, and he is my only son. He doesn't go to daycare or anything and none of my friends have children aged pm, all newborns-age schools
Great question! My son was a ball constant energy needed a lot of pipe in the right direction. One thing I always was a success was to appeal to your imagination. Make a scene and then let him run with it. Create props and costumes! My son liked to play with things too, so I always hourded interesting items that could become on things like toilet paper rolls and rolls of paper towels and aluminum foil (for $ 2 worth hours of fun and creativity) and rubber bands. Not buy things on the island of toys – go to your local craft store (like Michael who do have in your area) or party supply places usually fun and unusual things for cheap. And in the summer I had always got several boxes of dishwasher that local appliance stores – can be cut and painted on and becomes whatever. That was generally worth a couple of weeks of fun. My son loved the things we had boxes and potted plants in the courtyard that was fun to dig around in another thing – if you're brave – is cooking. We made cookies about once a week and loved to help with the mixing and pouring.
